Abstract
Autonomous driving and networked cyberphysical transport systems pose ever-increasing challenges for the development and validation of advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving functions. Real-time optimisation and testing in particular are associated with enormous effort and risk. A holistic, flexibly configurable, real-time-capable test bench for the entire vehicle would provide a remedy here. The following article describes the concept of the holistic, highly flexibly configurable real-time test system for intelligent vehicles in co-operating cyber-physical traffic systems (ERAGON), which is currently being developed at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences.
